Electric City Opportunities is the culmination of my own 15-year journey of employment. Growing up in a small-rural community with a disability, I understand the importance of and critical need for community resources and when they aren't there- it can feel like you're on your own. This is why I started ECO.

Meet the Owner and Lead Developer: Andrew Johnson
I was born and raised in a small farming community outside of Twin Falls, ID. When I was 14 years old, I became an incomplete paraplegic and suffered a traumatic brain injury after a car accident. Upon being released from the hospital, I struggled with terribly low self-esteem and lacked confidence in myself. High school is hard but when you're disabled, it is almost unbearable. I was referred to a Vocational Rehab PRE-ETs program during this time. Soon after, I left the program because I was a naïve, rebellious teenager. I struggled maintaining employment after and knew I needed help, so I reached out to Voc. Rehab again and with some luck I got my start in the world of human services. My passion lies with helping people.
